A lovely find, opposite the Edinburgh International Convention Centre. We chose it just because it was nearby after a long day, but I could not have been happier. The hot and cold mezze had several delicious vegan options, and one or two main courses that looked great too, but I didn't get that far! I ordered three mezze dishes and was sad to not be able to finish it all! Prompt, friendly service and very generous portions at a reasonable price. Absolutely loved it.
I live deep in the country where eating Middle Eastern food isn't an option without driving for almost 2hrs, so while in Edinburgh, made the most of it. Lovely little place, quite central, and the food was of high quality. Generally I judge a Middle Eastern restaurant on the quality of its hummus, and this was really tasty. The options for mains are good, and was glad in what I chose (dawood basha). Will certainly be returning when I come back to the city. Belly is very happy right now!
We visited Rojava whilst staying in Edinburgh as Middle Eastern food is a favourite of mine and my husband. It was our first time taking our 10 year old daughter. The food was great, we shared a selection of meze dishes and then meatballs and mixed bbq dishes. All amazing. The tapsi is definitely worth a try. Our daughter loved it and wants to go back. Friendly service and a nice atmosphere.
